Aqueous Wax Emulsion

“QUALIWAX C-40” is a Homogenous-Aqueous Wax Emulsion, containing fine particles of wax held in suspension by carefully selected emulsifiers. The Wax and Emulsifiers combination are specially formulated to give the characteristics required in the Emulsion.

Free flowing characteristic gives easy handling. Application can be closely controlled. High solids contents results in greater wax deposition very fine dispersion (Average partial size 1 Micron) aids woven application. Goods storage stability.

Storage & Handling “QUALIWAX C-40” Emulsions should not be allowed to freeze and must be stored at about 30°C. All containers should be kept closed to prevent surface evaporation and crusting of product. The containers should be protected from direct sun-light.

QUALIWAX-PE is a good resin bath additive and is non chlorine retentive. It improves the tear strength of resin finished goods by acting as a lubricant to reduce friction between threads. It also gives a soft and supple handle besides giving increased crease recovery and flex abrasion resistance. Because of its low emulsifier content finish or QUALIWAX – PE is more durable even after prolonged laundering.

Applications:

(A) As a Resin Bath Additive: QUALIWAX-PE is generally incorporated in all resin finishes from 15 to 20 gpl like:

Wash-N-Wear Finish on Cotton.
Wash-N-Wear Finish on superfine varieties.
For Glazing & Embossing with Wash-N-Wear characteristics.
Post Cure for permanent press fabrics.
For Anticrease and water repellence.

(B) As a Finishing Agent: To impart a soft handle to cotton and synthetic fabrics pad with 30 to 40 gpl QUALIWAX-PE & followed by standard drying. This finish with QUALIWAX PE is fast to washing over a long period of time.
{C)As Yarn Lubricant: QUALIWAX PE is also used at concentration of 10-20 gpl as a Yarn lubricant & finishing agent for knit good. These goods are normally further processed
{D)In Leather Industries: QUALIWAX PE is suitable in pigment finishing. Also imparts matt effect on finished leather surface.

Emulsified Natural Wax

QUALIWAX CA-30 is an emulsified Natural Wax in concentrated form and offered from the economy point of view. It helps in keeping inventory down, occupies less storage space and can be easily converted to the emulsion form of desired concentration at convenience.
